jaakko lampela, MD

​Jaakko is a M.D, and has half a decade of experience in translational research and works also in clinical practise. On translational research, Jaakko’s core expertise is around heart failure, echocardiography and cardiac gene therapies.

pekka poutiainen, pHd

​Pekka is a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with over 15 years of experience on drug discovery, radiochemistry and molecular imaging. Pekka has experience on PET tracer design and filed several patents regarding novel small molecular drug compounds. In addition, with the experience of drug design to clinical imaging studies Pekka has unique experience on drug development process and imaging applications from target validation to bed side.

jarkko hytönen, md, phd

​Jarkko is a M.D. with a PhD in molecular medicine with 15 years of experience in translational cardiovascular research. Jarkko’s research projects have centered on gene therapy, intravascular imaging and coronary stents including biodegradable devices.  Currently Jarkko is also working as a cardiology registrar at the Kuopio University Hospital.

Niko is a MD student and PhD student in molecular medicine. Niko’s core expertise is around practical animal works, especially cardiac gene therapies, sample collections, and imaging.
